Today it has been pouring down rain all day but we spent all afternoon in the temple so we didn’t mind. We had our orientation tour and oh what an incredible temple it is! It’s beautiful, it’s unique, it’s historic, it’s a living testament to the faith, skills, and sacrifices of the Saints who built it. To think it took six years to build and only three months did they get to use it but it fulfilled its purpose - to endow them with power to face the hardships still ahead. What a privilege to walk through these halls and feel the spirit of this place. We came out to no rain and a beautiful view of the river. It’s such an amazing place to be. And we were set apart as temple workers here with a beautiful blessing from President Mckay which again promised blessings on me and my family. I already feel those blessings pouring out upon me, and hope you feel some too.
