Isn’t it wonderful that church is the same wherever you go! Good people, familiar building, same gospel. We only spoke to one person in the Fort Collins ward - the young man passing out programs at the door. But he was so friendly, welcoming us and wishing us a good day that we felt right at home. So my young priesthood grandsons - I thought what a difference you can make in someone’s day with the simplest effort to be kind and friendly. After church we drove across Nebraska to North Platte, listening of course to more great podcasts. I spent the evening in the motel reading my wonderful book on the pioneers - Trail of Hope. I thought I had a pretty good understanding of that history but I’ve learned so many things and I love the many quotes from the pioneers telling their own stories. Every day brings new insights!
